Upon your arrival at Paro Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative from Journey DMC who will assist you with the necessary arrival formalities. Paro is the gateway to Bhutan and offers a picturesque introduction to the country with its stunning landscapes and serene atmosphere.

After completing the arrival formalities, you will be transferred to your hotel in Paro. Take this time to relax and unwind from your journey and get settled into your accommodation. Paro is a charming town located in a beautiful valley and is known for its rich history, culture, and natural beauty. You can explore the town in the evening, maybe take a stroll, and enjoy the local cuisine at one of the restaurants in the area.

The drive from Paro to Haa Valley in Bhutan is a scenic journey that takes you through picturesque landscapes, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayas. The road meanders through mountainous terrain, providing glimpses of traditional Bhutanese villages, lush valleys, and dense forests.

As you travel towards Haa, you may pass through the Chele La Pass, one of the highest motorable passes in Bhutan, offering panoramic vistas of the surrounding mountains. The journey is characterized by winding roads and stunning vistas, providing an opportunity to appreciate Bhutan's natural beauty.

Upon reaching Haa Valley, you'll be welcomed by its serene ambience, traditional architecture, and cultural richness. Explore local attractions, including Lhakhang Karpo (White Temple) and Lhakhang Nagpo (Black Temple), and immerse yourself in the unique charm of Haa Valley.

Embarking on your trek, the day unfolds with a gentle climb to the Talela Pass at 3780m, guiding you through a dense forest adorned with rhododendrons and coniferous trees. The enchanting surroundings set the stage for a gradual ascent to a yak herders' camp at Tshojo. Continuing the ascent, you'll reach the Gochula Pass at 4200m, offering panoramic views of the mountainous landscape.

Post the pass, the trail follows a ridge, providing a scenic walk with breathtaking vistas. As you traverse the ridge, a gradual descent leads you to the campsite at Womji. Nestled in the heart of the mountains, this camp offers a tranquil setting to rest and appreciate the natural beauty that accompanies your trekking adventure

Embark on your trek by ascending steeply through dense juniper and rhododendron forests to reach the Gochhila Pass at 4350m, offering breathtaking vistas of the Tshejala range. The journey continues towards Tshejalum, passing by yak herders' camps. In the spring, the trail transforms into a vibrant tapestry, adorned with a profusion of wildflowers. Proceeding further, you'll head towards the Tshejala Pass, tracing the footsteps of the ancient trade route from Haa to Tibet. This trek seamlessly blends challenging terrain, alpine beauty, and cultural history, providing an immersive experience in the heart of Bhutan's pristine wilderness.

Immerse yourself in the tranquillity of the day by exploring the serene surroundings of the sacred lake. Delight in the unique experience of visiting a nearby yak herders' camp, and gaining insights into their traditional way of life amidst the pristine wilderness. As you wander, keep an eye out for the shimmering golden trout that inhabit the crystalline waters, adding a touch of natural beauty to the landscape. Alternatively, venture into the surrounding hillsides, discovering hidden gems and embracing the unspoiled vistas that characterize this idyllic setting. This day offers a perfect blend of cultural immersion and appreciation for the pristine natural environment.

Overnight at Camping. [B/L/D]

Embark on a scenic journey as you retrace your steps to the Gochhila Pass. From the pass, diverge onto a different route, traversing a ridge that leads to the enchanting Lake Tsojo at 3780m. Enjoy a picturesque picnic lunch on the tranquil shores of the lake, surrounded by the beauty of the Bhutanese wilderness. Post lunch, descend through the landscape, making your way to the camp nestled in a yak meadow at Tsojo. This change in route offers a fresh perspective, allowing you to appreciate diverse terrains and the natural wonders that characterize this captivating region.

Overnight at Camping. [B/L/D]

On the final day of your trek, follow a gradual descent through the enchanting juniper and rhododendron forest until you reach the Talila Pass. Crossing this pass marks your re-entry into the Haa Valley, the culmination of your trekking adventure. Here, amidst the natural beauty of Bhutan, your trek officially concludes. As you exit the trail, your transportation awaits to seamlessly transfer you to Paro, providing a comfortable and scenic journey back to your starting point. Reflect on the memories and experiences garnered during your trek through the Himalayan landscapes, cherishing the unique moments and the serenity of Bhutan's wilderness.

The last day morning will be free and near the time of your flight. You will be at the airport within the time to board your flight for the onward trip.
