The Chele La Pass, one of the highest motorable passes in Bhutan, is a highlight along the way, providing stunning panoramic vistas of the Himalayas. Embarking on your trek in the Haa Valley at an elevation of 2670m, the journey unfolds along an unpaved motor road for less than an hour. Keeping to the left side of the villages, you'll navigate through the picturesque landscape. As you ascend gradually through yak herders' camps on the right side of the village, a divergence in the trail presents itself. It's crucial to avoid the left trail leading to the summer yak herding camp and the border of China. Opting for the right trail, your final climb takes you to the serene campsite at Sagala, situated at an elevation of 3150m, offering a rewarding and scenic stop on your trek.

Reaching the ridge's summit at 4435m, a panoramic view of Haa Valley unfolds below. The journey continues with intermittent ascents and descents through hemlock and juniper forests, culminating at the campsite situated at 3850m. This trek promises a blend of challenging terrains, vibrant flora, and stunning mountain vistas, creating an unforgettable Himalayan experience.
